Recently we’ve seen the following events happening around the world:

In a matter of one week, there was an earthquake and a hurricane along the east coast causing evacuations in New York City, Washington D.C.  and other cities along the coast.  Public transportation was completely shut down for 2 days in NYC.

 

Riots in London and Canada that police themselves claim they can’t control.

 

 

An earthquake and tsunami in Japan left over 4 million people without power and over 1.5 million people without water.  People within a 50 mile radius of a damaged nuclear power plant were evacuated.

 

An earthquake in Haiti devastated millions of people.

 

Wildfires in Oklahoma and Texas burned homes and forced evacuations. And that’s not all . . . in the first 8 months of 2011 alone there was over 36 BILLION dollars of damage caused by natural disasters in the United States.

 

Every day people’s homes are being broken into by criminals, drug addicts, and other bad people looking to take your belongings and hurt your family.

 

No matter where you live you are susceptible to some natural disaster, a home invasion, or another emergency that may cause you to need to evacuate your home, stores to shut down, your home being invaded, social unrest, emergency medical care, or even hyper-inflation.  So again–the question: ARE YOU PREPARED?
