I have been robbed, my home burglarized and attacked while leaving the grocery store. I currently live in Chicago, thinking of relocating because it ‘s not safe for anyone here.The Chicago Police can only do so much, I’m ready to sell my home and leave Chicago. If i cant protect my self then living here is a gamble. I am extremely frustated.

We don’t even have common sense gun control laws in America thanks to the gun lobby. Mental patients are legally buying guns and then killing people. The NIU shooter killed 5 and wounded 21. The Violence Policy Center website details stories of concealed carry holders. Since May 2007 they have killed 11 police officers and 286 civilians. They have also been charged with many felonies. This law is a distraction not a solution to the flood of weapons in America.

If you haven’t already,please ask your contacts to email the following Illinois state legislators;ask them to support HB 148. It will more than likely come up for a floor vote next month.
